I’ve only just realized the amount of local jewelry artists and clothing designers that Miami has to offer. My first encounter with local talent was at the Fashion Bloggers Do It Better party hosted by Miami fashion bloggers, Annie Vazquez of The Fashion Poet and Simonett Pereira and Eugy Alliegro of The Goodwill Project. I further discovered Miami’s burgeoning talent pool by attending the Design Factory launch party during Art Walk in Wynwood. This particular jewelry designer caught my eye at the Design Factory party. Her eclectic offerings of jewelry were not just pretty to look at but also very wearable. My sister bought a cool pair of neon pink earrings at the event, and although I didn’t snag anything from this designer that night, I’ll be emailing her later today to see which colors of quartz she currently has in stock!
